Detection of the Level of Bone Marrow Erythropoietin (EPO) in patients with liver cirrhosis

摘要: 本文采用放射免疫方法检测肝硬化患者血清和骨髓中的红细胞生成素 (EPO)含量。研究结果显示 ,患者血清中EPO水平与健康人相比 ,显著升高 (P <0 0 0 1) ,普遍存在EPO应答障碍 ,致使贫血持续存在。与此相反 ,患者骨髓EPO水平低于正常健康人 (P <0 0 0 1)。提示 ,肝硬化患者存在骨髓造血机能障碍Abstract: Erythropoietin (EPO) level of serum and bone marrow of patients with liver cirrhosis was detected by radio -immune assay. The serum EPO level of cirrhotic patients is higher than that of control group. It shows that there is a blunt EPO response in the patients, which causes anemia. While the bone marrow EPO level of patients is lower than that of control group. It can be concluded that the hematopoietic function of bone marrow in cirrhotic patients is depressed.
