Abstract: To explore the aberration induced by hepatitis in peripheral lymphocyte chromosome of hosts and the relations among chromosome aberration, liyer pathological changes, and the indices of pathogeny duplication.The peripheral blood in 64 cases of virus hepatitis, with different clinical stages was drawn, mixed with haparin, cultured and with lymphocyte separation.The chromosomal smear was made by routine methods, the liver function and pathogeny indices were examined.The rate and type of aberration of chromosome were observed.50 Samples showed chromosome aberration.The rate of chromosome aberration was ≥3% in 16 cases, and reached as high as 4%-6 5% in another 15 cases.The infection of hepatitis virus may cause lymphocyte chromosome aberration, and it seems that there were some relations between the degree of live damage and the indices of virus duplication.
