Abstract:
To study changes of retinal-binding protein (RBP) in different types of viral hepatitis and to explore RBP's diagnostic value in viral hepatitis patients.Serum RBP, PA and ALB were detected respectively in acute hepatitis patients, chronic hepatitis patients mild, middle and severe degree) , hepatitis gravis patients, cirrhosis patients (compensatory phase and decompensatory phase) and normal control.Statistical analysis was done. The level of RBP and PA of all hepatopath except chronic mild hepatitis decreased apparently compared with control group. (P<0.05) The abnormal rate of RBP was higher than that of PA and ALB in all hepatopath. (P<0.05) The level of RBP and PA of dead patients was lower significantly than that of survival and the difference of RBP was very significant between two groups (P<0.01) .Serum RBP was a sensitive index in judging acute and chronic liver injury.Serum RBP could reflect liver's reserved function exactly and had important reference value in estimating prognosis of hepatitis gravis and hepatitis cirrhosis.
