Abstract: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the hepatic manifestation of metabolic syndrome.Currently it is one of the highest incidence of disease worldwide, it is considered that the pathogenesis of NAFLD to be a multifactorial process.Insulin resistance (IR) has been confirmed to be implicated in the pathogenesis and progression of NAFLD.Recent studies focused on the role of leptin and adiponectin in NAFLD.We summarized the recent findings concerning the role of leptin and adiponectin in NAFLD.
