The expression and significance of HMGB1 in chronic hepatitis B

摘要

摘要: 目的了解高迁移率族蛋白B1（HMGB1）在慢性乙型肝炎（CHB）患者肝组织中的表达及其与肝组织损伤程度的关系。方法经血清学证实为慢性乙型肝炎患者46例。对穿刺的肝组织采用常规HE染色、Masson三色特染及Gordon-Sweet银染法观察肝组织炎症与纤维化程度,用免疫组化方法判断HMGB1在肝组织中的表达。结果正常肝组织HMGB1不表达或在细胞核内微弱表达,HMGB1随肝脏炎症及纤维化加重而表达逐渐增强（P<0.005）。结论 HMGB1与肝组织的炎症及纤维化程度密切相关,可作为慢性乙型肝炎患者炎症及纤维化发展以及治疗随访、预后判断的敏感指标。

Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of high mobility group box 1 protein (HMGB1) in different liver tissue and its relationship with liver injury.Methods 46 liver specimens of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients were diagnosed by serology test.The hepatic inflammation and fibrosis degree were tested by HE, Masson and Gordon-Sweet staining.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of HMGB1.Results HMGB1 didn't or weakly expressed in normal liver tissue, while strongly expressed along with aggravative hepatic inflammation and fibrosis (P<0.005) .Conclusion HMGB1 expression is positively correlated with hepatic inflammation and fibrosis, which is the sensitive indicator of treatment and prognosis.
