Research progress of Notch signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma

摘要: Notch信号通路存在于多种动物体内,其家族成员的结构具有高度保守性,在细胞分化和发育中发挥着关键作用,保持着细胞增殖、分化和凋亡三者之间的动态平衡。异常活化的Notch信号可促使正常细胞向恶性转化,失控的Notch信号与肿瘤细胞的生长相关,Notch信号在大多数情况下作为癌基因促进肿瘤生长,但也发挥着诱导细胞分化、抑制肿瘤细胞增殖的作用。Abstract: The Notch signaling pathways exist in many animals, the members of the family structure is highly conservative.It plays a key role in cell differentiation and development and maintains the balance between cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis.The abnormal activation of Notch signal can contribute to normal to malignant transformation, and uncontrolled Notch signaling which is related to the growth of tumor cells regulation.Notch signal often acts as cancer gene to promote tumor growth in most of cases, but can also lead to cell differentiation and inhibit tumor proliferation role.
