Research advances in Hedgehog signaling pathway in hepatocellular carcinoma

摘要:
Hedgehog(Hh)信号通路存在于多种动物体内,对调节胚胎发育及胚胎形成后分化起重要作用,其异常激活参与多种恶性肿瘤的发病过程。近年来研究发现Hh信号通路传导异常可导致肝细胞癌(HCC)发生,并与肿瘤侵袭、转移相关。深入探讨Hh信号通路与HCC的关系,将有助于进一步揭示HCC的发病机制,为HCC的防治提供新的可能途径及作用靶点。
Abstract:Hedgehog( Hh) signaling pathway is present in many animals and plays an important role in regulating embryonic development and differentiation. Aberrant activation of Hh signaling contributes to the pathogenesis of many malignancies. Recent studies have shown that dysregulated Hh signaling pathway participates in the tumorigenesis,tumor invasion,and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma( HCC). Investigation of the relationship between Hh signaling pathway and HCC will help elucidate the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis of HCC and provide a new insight into the development of novel anticancer therapy and therapeutic target.
