Measurement of serum biotinidase activity in hepatic disease and its significance

摘要: 用比色分析法测定了 132名正常成人及 2 3例各种病因引起的肝硬化患者的血清生物素基酶活性 ,以探讨其与肝脏受损害程度的关系及其临床意义。结果表明肝病患者的血清生物素基酶活性显著低于正常人 ,其生物素基酶活性为 （3 5 5± 0 82 ）nmolmin-1血清ml-1（正常对照为 （7 33± 1 5 5 ）nmol·min-1·血清ml-1）。血清生物素基酶活性与血清白蛋白浓度 ,凝血酶原时间和血清总胆固醇浓度分别相关 （r =0 6 ,P <0 0 0 3;r=- 0 5 0 9,P<0 0 13;r =0 76 4,P <0 0 0 1）。因此血清生物素基酶活性可反映肝脏受损程度及其预后 ,有一定的临床意义。Abstract: WT5”BZ] In order to evaluate the clinical significance of serum biotinidase in liver disease, biotinidase activities were determined by colorimetric assay in serum of 155 individuals, including 132 healthy adults, 23 patients with liver cirrhosis of various causes. Biotinidase activities in subjects with liver cirrhosis were significantly reduced than those in healthy subjects (1 17 to 4 79 nmol·min -1 ·serum ml -1 vs 7 33±1 55nmol·min -1 ·serum ml -1 ) .Biotinidase activities were correlated with serum albumin, prothrombin time and total cholesterol respectively (r=0 600, P<0 003;r=-0 509, P<0 013;r=0 764, P<0 0001 respectively) .The results suggest that biotinidase activities reflect the degree of liver damage and could be a potentially useful diagnostic index of hepatic biosynthetic function.
