Role of exosomes in the metastasis of pancreatic cancer

尽管在过去几十年胰腺癌的诊断和治疗取得了较大的进展,但由于胰腺癌恶性程度高,发展迅速,浸润和转移性强,5年生存率仍低于10%。外泌体是一类纳米级的膜性囊泡,可由多种细胞分泌,其携带蛋白质、脂质、核酸等多种物质,参与细胞间物质运输、信息传递、肿瘤的发生发展及转移等生理病理过程。研究发现外泌体在胰腺癌的转移中起关键作用,外泌体通过上皮-间质转化、促进血管生成作用于肿瘤微环境,并影响转移前微环境的形成以及参与形成免疫抑制微环境等方式调控胰腺癌的转移。就外泌体在胰腺癌转移中的研究进展进行了综述。
Abstract:Although great achievements have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer in the past several decades,the5-year survival rate of this disease is still below 10% due to high degree of malignancy,rapid progression,and strong invasion and metastasis. Exosomes are a class of nanoscale membranous vesicles that can be secreted by a variety of cells,and they carry various substances including proteins,lipids,and nucleic acids and participate in various physiological and pathological processes,such as intercellular material transport,information transmission,and development,progression,and metastasis of tumor. Studies have shown that exosomes play an important role in the metastasis of pancreatic cancer and can regulate the metastasis of pancreatic cancer by promoting epithelial-mesenchymal transition and angiogenesis to act on tumor microenvironment,affecting the formation of premetastatic microenvironment,and participating in the formation of immunosuppression microenvironment. This article reviews the research advances in exosomes in the metastasis of pancreatic cancer.
