唐承薇，女，博士，教授，消化病学博士生导师。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，国家有突出贡献中青年专家，国家 “百千万人才工程”一、二层次入选者，四川省学术和技术带头人，四川省卫生厅学术技术带头人，四川大学“214重点人才工程计划”一层次人才。2002年起任四川大学华西医院消化内科、消化内镜中心主任，人类疾病相关多肽研究室主任。

1983年毕业于华西医科大学医学系，1986年在重庆医科大学获消化内科硕士学位。1986年任重庆医科大学第一医院消化内科住院医师、讲师。1992年在荷兰莱顿大学医学中心深造，师从荷兰消化病学会主席Lamers CBHW，1996年获博士学位(PhD)。回国后任重庆医科大学第一医院消化内科主任、教授、博士生导师。曾获国家杰出青年科学基金，是国家有突出贡献的中青年专家、国家百千万人才工程一、二层次入选者、全国消化学会激素组和胰腺组委员、四川省和成都市消化专委会主任委员。发表论文100余篇，代表作曾发表在Gastroenterology, Gut, Br J Cancer, Int J Cancer，Carcinogenesis，Pancreas等国际著名刊物及国内中华医学系列刊物。
