教授，主任医师，博士，博士研究生导师，从事医教研工作30多年，主攻肝脏疾病的研究与临床，具有丰富的临床经验，负责成立中山大学附属第一医院脂肪肝诊治中心，组建脂肪肝多学科诊疗团队，率先开展国际前沿的诊疗方法。现任中华医学会肝病学分会脂肪肝和酒精肝学组委员、中华医学会消化病学分会肝胆组委员、中华医学会老年医学分会消化病学组委员、广东省医学会肝脏病学分会副主任委员兼脂肪肝学组组长、广东省肝病学会脂肪肝专业委员会主任委员、广东省临床医学学会脂肪肝专委会主任委员、广东省健康管理学会脂肪肝多学科诊治专业委员会主任委员、广东省医学会感染病学分会常委、广东省医师协会感染病学分会常委、广东省预防医学会感染病学专业委员会常委等。
