WT5”BZ]To study the therapeutic effect of CT guided percutaneous intratumoral injection of lipiodol adriamycin ethanol for liver cancer 30 patients with liver cancer were treated with percutaneous intratumoral injection of lipiodol adriamycin ethanol under CT guidance There were 22 males and 8 females with a mean age of 43 years The 1 and 3 year survival rates of <3cm diameter or >5cm diameter liver cancer were 100%、66 6% (P<0 05%) and 62 5%、12 5% (P<0 05) respectively Histologic examination of cancer specimens obtained from biopsy showed the treatment caused complete necrosis tumor tissue in 70 0% of the treated cases Conclusion:Effectiveness, wide range of application and minimum trauma are characteristic of this method [WT5”HZ]
