To study the relation between the level of serum interleoukin-2 receptor (SIL-2R) and the damage of heptocyte in viral hepatitis E (HE) .The level of SIL-2R in acute phase is higher than that in recovery phase ( (P<0.05) , No signi-fi cant difference existed between recovery phase and normal controt (P<0.05) .The level of SIL-2R in acute phase is correlated with the level of ALT positively (r=0.857, t=6.7788, P<0.05) , but there is no relation between the levels of SIL-2R and Bil (r=0.1057, t=0.4252, (P>0.05) .The damage of hepatocyte in HE is related to immume.The level of SIL-2R in HE is a predictable index for severity of HE.
