To evaluate the serum HBV DNA level in hepatitis B and its relation with liver function and liver tissue injury.380 untreated patients with hepatitis B were selected and their serum HBVDNA level and liver function were detected, and among them 71 cases received liver biopsy.Serum HBVDNA level disaccord with state of their illness;serum ALT and TBil in those HBVDNA (+) and HBVDNA (-) have no difference (P>0.05) ;HAI scores have no relation with serum HBVDNA level (P>0.05) .Serum HBVDNA level cannot reflect the state of hepatitis illness, and no correlation with inflammation and fibrosis in liver.
