To investigate the similarities and differences in ultrasonographic images between autoimmune liver disease (AILD) and chronic viral hepatitis B (CVHB) .Single factor analysis and non-conditional logistic regression analysis were conducted to determine the statistical differences.There are significant differences in sex and liver size between the patients with AILD and those with CVHB (P<0.001) .Meanwhile, marked differences are found in liver size and liver echo between the patients with moderate-and late-stage primary biliary cirrhosis and those with liver cirrhosis due to hepatitis. (P<0.0001, P=0.047) .The ultrasonic character of AIH is apparently different from that of CHB.The difference also exists between PBC and viral liver cirhrosis B.
