Liver function evaluation includes static and dynamic tests.Albumin, bilirubin and some other biochemical parameters can be used to reflect the degree of liver injury.Recently, indocyanine green retention rate at 15 min (ICG (R15) ) has been considered a sensitive dynamic marker for the liver's reserve function.CTP and MELD score often be used to evaluate the prognosis of end stage liver disease and liver failure, but need to be improved.A few new biomarkers such as Gc-globulin and CD163 have shown some promising prognostic value.
