WT5”BZ]We detected hepatitis B virus replicative intermediates RNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in patients with hepatitis B virus infection by RT-PCR technology A positive rate of 8 3% was detected for hepatitis B virus replicative intermediates RNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in 60 cases of patients with hepatitis B virus infection The positive rate was 13 3% in 30 cases of chronic hepatitis, and it was 6 7% in 15 cases of cirrhosis No one case was detected in 15 cases of acute hepatits This indicated that the replication of hepatitis B virus in peripheral blood mononuclear cells was related to the chronicity of hepatitis B, but was not related to the seriousity of ill [WT5”HZ]
