To observe the clinical efficacy of Thiamine and Diammonium glycyrrhizinate on chronic hepatitis B. patients of chronic hepatitis B were treated with Thiamine in California U.S.A and Dalian city respectively. Normalization rate of liver function showed significant difference between Diammonium glycyrrhizinate group and the group combined with Thiamine; compared with the above two groups the group of Thiamine showed apparent decrease in liver function normalization rate, with significance. At the end of the 48-week continuous treatment, normalization of liver function, negative conversion rate of HBVDNA and HBeAg in Thiamine group showed significant difference compared with the other groups at the end of the 8th week. Thiamine may decrease content of virus, stabilize hepatic internal environment, and promote recovery of liver function.
