Effect of sophocarpidine and diammonium glycyrrhizinate injection on hepatic fibrosis and the content of interferon-γ of chronicity type B Hepatitis patients
Objective To study the effect of sophocarpidine and diammonium glycyrrhizinate injection on hepatic fibrosis and the content of IFN-γ in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. Methods A total of 136 CHB patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group (n=72) was given sophocarpidine and diammonium glycyrrhizinate injection, and the control group (n=64) was given Lamivudine PO for 6 months.Liver function tests, HBV serum markers, and hepatic fibrosis indexes and IFN-γ were measured at the end of treatment. Results The level of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) , aspartate amino transferase (AST) , hyaluronic acid (HA) , precollagen Ⅲ (PCⅢ) , laminin (LN) and collogen IV (IV-c) in blood plasma were decreased, the albumin globulin ratio (A/G) and the content of IFN-γ was increased in both groups, after treatment (P<0.01) .The level of ALT, AST, HA, PCⅢ and IV-c showed a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05) .The HBV DNA negativity was higher in the control than the treatment group (P<0.05) and the HBeAg negativity was lesser in the control group (P<0.01) .Conclusion Sophocarpidine and diammonium glycyrrhizinate injection could increase the content of IFN-γ, decrease liver inflammation, hepatic fibrosis and virus replication, and improves liver function.
